Superior vesical artery
From IKE
The superior vesical artery is one of the visceral branches of the internal iliac arteries of the pelvis. It supplies the bladder (upper part), and represents the patent, proximal part of the umbilical artery. The distal, obliterated part of the artery forms the medial umbilical ligament which passes retroperitoneally, along the anterior abdominal wall to the umbilicus.
