Struma ovarii

Struma Ovarii: This is a benign tumour in which thyroid tissue is the predominant or sole component of a teratoma or where the thyroid tissue is recognized grossly. Most produce thyroid hormones, but clinical hyperthyroidism is present in only 5%.
