Presyncope
From IKE
Presyncope is the sensation of impending loss of consciousness without progressing to the loss of consciousness. If it does progress to loss of consciousness (syncope), it is referred to as a prodrome. Patients commonly refer to presyncope by using terms such as dizzy, lightheaded, faint, disoriented, or unsteady. Presyncope may be caused by a less severe manifestation of reduced cerebral blood flow (hypotension) which leads to syncope.
