Obturator artery
From IKE
The obturator artery is one of the parietal branches of the internal iliac arteries of the pelvis. It passes through the obturator canal to enter the thigh. Prior to entering the obturator foramen, the obturator artery may anastomose with the inferior epigastric artery (branch of the external iliac artery). In some instances, the branch from the inferior epigastric artery forms the definitive obturator artery, with no obturator branch coming from the internal iliac arteries.
