Nonulcer dyspepsia

Nonulcer dyspepsia is a dyspepsia that shows chronic "ulcer-like" symptoms without an ulcer by x-ray or endoscopy. Usually, this exhibits as [indigestion]], meal-related epigastric discomfort, and may be associated with nausea, vomiting, belching, bloating and flatulence.
Non-ulcer dyspepsia accounts for 50% of all dyspepsia, and can only be diagnosed after history, physical and initial investigations have ruled out organic disease. Nonulcer dyspesia affects 20-30% of population.
