Neuroscience/Approach to the patient with muscle or nerve disease

Objectives

Be familiar with an approach to the diagnosis of patients who present with sensory disturbance
Be familiar with an approach to the diagnosis of patients who present with weakness or numbness
Given symptoms and signs suggesting a disease of the peripheral nervous system, be able to accurately localize a patient's problem to the peripheral nerve, neuromuscular junction or muscle.
