Hamartomatous polyp

A hamartomatous polyp is a polyp with a hamartoma organization, which is to say that it is a completely disorganized collection of normal (mature) tissue components native to the site at which it is arising.

In terms of colorectal polyps, there are two main ones: juvenile polyps and Peutz-Jeghers polyps.
