Celiac trunk

The celiac trunk (aka celiac artery) arises just below the aortic hiatus of the diaphragm to supply derivatives of the caudal foregut and spleen. It is very short, dividing almost immediately into its three main branches: Left gastric artery, common hepatic artery and the splenic artery.
